People of the Medicine is our Native-owned brand that we use to promote non-intoxicating CBD products. The brand represents thousands of years of Native people observing the effects of natural products. We make no claim that these products offer a medical solution to any specific problem.
Our 30mg CBD softgels are our flagship product. They are produced in the USA from premium hemp and are lab tested to contain less than 0.3% THC. They won’t get you high, not even a buzz, but they may help you feel better over time. We take them daily ourselves. Ask for this product at your local tribal cannabis store, and if they don’t yet have it, ask them to reach out to us through the Contact page.
We are continually looking for top quality CBD products, such as capsules, oils, tinctures, lotions, and will add them to this brand when the time is right and we’re satisfied that they offer great value to our users.
We are currently evaluating a 30mg tablet that comes in a daytime formula containing vitamins C and B12 along with the CBD that may boost mental clarity and improve your mood. It also comes in a nighttime formula containing Melatonin and chamomile that may help you relax and get a good night’s sleep.
CBD is an abbreviation of the word cannabidiol. There are two primary sources of CBD: marijuana plants and hemp plants, two varieties of the cannabis plant. The cannabis sativa plant contains over 400 chemical compounds, generally called cannabinoids. The two main cannabinoids are THC (tetrahydrocannabidiol), which comes from the marijuana plant, and which is the substance that can make a person “high,” and CBD (cannabidiol), which can be refined from either plant, and which by itself will NOT make a person high. Because hemp plants contain by law less than 0.3% THC, CBD produced from hemp is legal in most jurisdictions in the US and in many countries. CBD pills or tablets are a convenient and familiar way to take a regular fixed dose of CBD for therapeutic or other reasons.
